Women's Clubs in NYC

New York City has clubs for practically everyone. If you want a trendy club, there are plenty to choose from. If you want a jazz club, just head to Harlem. And if you want a women's club, look no farther. Women's clubs are sometimes called lesbian clubs, but women of all sexual preferences are welcome.
  1. RF Lounge

    • RF Lounge is located in the West Village in Manhattan. This club used to be called Ruby Fruit, but in 2009 it was sold to a new owner who renovated the place completely. RF Lounge has two floors. The upper level has a bar, plays music and has a seating area. The bottom level has a larger space. There is no bar down there, but you can either bring your drinks from upstairs or order bottle service. RF Lounge plays popular pop music. In addition to its weekly parties, RF Lounge also hosts special events such as its Cinco De Mayo party. There usually is not a cover charge (exceptions are special events). RF is open Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights until 4 a.m.

    Henrietta Hudson

    • Henrietta Hudson is another popular women's club in the West Village in Manhattan. This club has been in business for more than 15 years. It is open every day. During the day it is a great place to get a drink and play a game of pool. It gets busy on Friday and Saturday nights. Because it gets so crowded, the pool table is usually moved to a storage area or is covered. Henrietta Hudson plays a variety of music, including hip-hop, party and house. It is free to get in during the day, but at night there is a cover charge. The price varies depending on the night and the time you arrive.

It plays a variety of music including pop and rock. It is open every day. It hosts a karaoke session on Thursday nights and has rotating DJs on the weekends. There is also a garden for when it gets a little too hot and crowded inside.
