As the name suggests, Caribbean City is a Caribbean-themed club in Brooklyn. Sunday nights the club presents its weekly reggae event, "Fire Sundays." Every Sunday night resident disc jockeys Massive B and DLife play the island sounds of reggae, hip-hop and soul calypso, or soca, (a dance music form of calypso) until 4 a.m. Like-minded reggae fans and enthusiasts crowd this weekly event, mingling, dancing, and sipping cocktails.
