Spanish Moon is a night club and music venue that hosts some of Baton Rouge's biggest music acts. Located in an unassuming brick building with a small metal sign, the club is actually quite large, featuring a downstairs with a dance floor, stage and full bar, and an upstairs with a full bar and pool tables. Because of its proximity to Louisiana State University, Spanish Moon tends to draw a lot of college students. The dress code here is casual, and smoking is allowed. Cover charge depends on the music act; check calendar for details.

Triple A is a dance club and bar that also houses the Funny Bone comedy club. The club has three resident DJs; local and national guest DJs often come in to play a set. Thursday nights are reserved for local live dance music, and women are allowed in for free before 11 pm. Triple A is one of the few places in Baton Rouge that allows minors over the age of 18 into the club, so the crowd is often on the younger side. Though there is no official dress code listed, dancers will probably feel more comfortable if they dress up a little. There is usually a cover charge on the weekends, and drink specials are offered throughout the week.
