Set on Beluga Lake, the Homer Float Plane Lodge features seven lakefront cabins with decks, cable television, full bathrooms, kitchenettes and a lakefront hot tub. All-inclusive fishing packages range from two to five days and include daily saltwater boat excursions for halibut, silver salmon and ling cod in Kachemak Bay. Current rates range from $1,550 per person for a two-day vacation to $3,500 for a five-day vacation. Trips are available during summer months.

Big Bear Halibut Charter offers full- and multiday charter packages. Fish for halibut, salmon, ling cod, rockfish or a combination of all four. Trips include all fishing equipment, professional fishing guides, coffee and pastries in the morning, soft drinks and snacks on the boat and free flash freezing for your catch. Big Bear Halibut Charters operates 37-foot Tollycraft yachts, featuring leather sofas and private restrooms in the heated cabins. Guides will bait your hooks and fillet your fish. Big Bear Halibut Charters also provides lodging in the Cozy Bear Cottage, located on the Homer Spit boardwalk. The cottage sleeps eight and features a television, DVD player, microwave, refrigerator and coffee pot. Fishing trips operate from May until September, with the best salmon fishing available in July. Full-day halibut trips currently start at $245 per person and multiple-species trips at $335.

Kachemak King Sportfishing offers one- and three-day fishing trips. Fish for halibut, salmon, ling cod and rockfish. Kachemak King operates a 37-foot Tollycraft and takes a maximum of six passengers. The boat features a full-size restroom and a Coast Guard-licensed skipper. Fishing guides will clean and fillet your catch for you. All fishing equipment is provided. Overnight trips include breakfast, lunch and dinner and on-board lodging. Trips operate from May until September, with a limited number of king salmon fishing charters available in the winter. Choose from a half- or full-day halibut charter. Your guide will fillet your fish for you and prepare it for freezing and transport. Saltwater salmon fishing charters are available year-round. Choose from day or overnight trips. Long-range fishing trips are limited to groups of six passengers and include halibut and salmon fishing, on-board lodging and meals featuring fresh seafood cooked on the boat's deck. Homer Ocean Charters operates 50-foot Bay Explorer boats that hold up to 34 passengers. Current rates vary by date and by fish species; from June 10 to August 18, a full day of salmon or halibut fishing on a 50-foot boat costs $210 per person, halibut and ling cod combo trips cost $300 per person and halibut and salmon combo trips cost $285 per person. Before June 9 and after August 18, halibut or salmon trips cost $200 per person.
