Which country is the Euphrates river located?

The Euphrates river is located in multiple countries, mainly in Turkey, Syria and Iraq. It flows through Turkey, where it is known as the Firat River, and is the longest river in the country. It then flows through Syria and enters Iraq, where it joins the Tigris River to form the Shatt al-Arab waterway, which eventually flows into the Persian Gulf.
