Lake Eola Park offers paddle boats and electric gondola boats, as well as a walking and running path that is nearly a mile long. The Relax Grill serves lunch and dinner, which you could grab before seeing a show or concert at the park's amphitheater. Live swans can be seen around the park, and you're also allowed to feed them and the other wildlife. You can bring your own pets, except in athletic areas, but you must clean up after them.
The Orlando Science Center has entertained Orlando and its visitors since 1960 with educational activities, movies and touring exhibits. Regular displays include exhibitions about severe weather, dinosaurs and water. The museum also hosts competition-based science fairs it refers to as "challenges" as well as overnight stays. On holidays, the center offers special programs for children who don't have school and also hosts summer camps.
The Amway Center, is home to the NBA's Orlando Magic as well as host to concerts and shows. Ticket prices depend on the show or game. The arena also has a restaurant on the Club Level, Jernigan's, where guests can enjoy drinks and dinner while watching the entertainment on closed, in-house TV screens and then moving to see the action live. Visitors can access the arena by car or taxi.
The Orange County Regional History Center displays Orlando's history, as well as that of the surrounding area. Exhibitions include permanent, rotating and traveling exhibitions. The exhibitions document Florida's role in the development of America--such as its role in the Civil and Revolutionary wars--and also explain the development of Florida itself, showing what it was like before, during and after these wars and how it became what it is today. For younger children, the center hosts educational programs, arts festivals and game nights.
