  1. Disney's BoardWalk

    • One of Orlando's biggest attractions is Disney World. Disney's BoardWalk allows visitors to enjoy a Disney-type atmosphere without having to shell out a cent. Located along Crescent Lake and just a short walk from Epcot, the BoardWalk offers more than 9,000 square feet of entertainment, including shops, restaurants, and nightclubs. Disney's BoardWalk is inspired by popular boardwalks of Coney Island and Atlantic City from the early 20th century. A perfect place for people watching, visitors can walk along the BoardWalk and window-shop at stores that offer Disney merchandise or sports apparel. During the evening, the BoardWalk comes alive with street performers, vendors and live entertainment.

    Orlando Brewing

    • Visitors over 21 will want to consider touring an organic brewery at Orlando Brewing located in downtown Orlando. Orlando Brewery produces quality ale without insecticide and by only using natural and organic products. The brewery offers more than a dozen selections, including brown, red, pale, blonde, red and dry porter ales, which are verified as organic by the U.S. Department of Agriculture. Learn how the organic ales are made on site. Free tours conducted Monday through Saturday at 6 p.m. Orlando Brewery also offers live entertainment and a gift shop.

    Peabody Duck March

    • The Peabody Orlando offers a traditional duck march at its luxurious hotel daily at 11 a.m. Five North American mallard ducks, led by a duck master adorned in a red and gold jacket, parade from their penthouse along a red carpet to the Royal Duck Fountain located in the Peabody Orlando's atrium accompanied by music by John Phillip Sousa. At 5 p.m., the procession takes the ducks from the fountain back to their quarters. The Peabody Orlando often allows children to serve as an honorary duck master.

    Grand Bohemian Gallery

    • The Grand Bohemian Hotel in downtown Orlando allows visitors to peruse world renowned art for free at the Grand Bohemian Gallery. The museum displays unique and rare artwork specializing in paintings, art, glass, sculpture and jewelry. Visitors can enjoy monthly art exhibitions and even meet the artists at receptions. Collections consist of internationally and locally known artists, including Italian artist Stefano Cecchini and French Expressionist artist Jean Claude Roy.
