  1. Flying Dutchman Winery

    • The views from the Flying Dutchman Winery in Otter Rock, Oregon are unparalleled compared to other wineries along the Oregon coast. Perched atop high cliff overlooking the Pacific Ocean, the winery is a small family-owned business started in 1997. The Winery won its first award for their Pinot Noir at the 1999 Oregon State Fair. Flying Dutchman winery sells red, white and dessert wines, which they ship all over the country. The winery has a tasting room where guests can have a taste of all their wines before making a purchase.

    Shallon Winery

    • Located in Astoria, Oregon, the Shallon Winery is surrounded by both the Pacific Ocean and the Columbia River. As of 2011, The winery is owned and operated by Paul van der Veldt, who opened the place more than 35 years ago. He is typically the person that will greet you at the door and serve you a tasting of his current wines. Shallon winery specializes in creative and unique wines such as making wine from whey, lemon meringue pie wine and apple spice wine. Shallon Winery also specializes in a chocolate Orange wine, which includes a mix of six different chocolates and has a liqueur-like consistency.

    • The Nahelem Bay Winery is a family winery located in Nahalem, Oregon that has been in operation operation since 1974. Aside from the typical wine offerings such as Pinot gris, Cabernets and Merlot, the Nahalem Bay Winery also features specialty sweet wines such as Rhubarb wine, honey mead wine and Santa's Elixir, their Christmas wine which combines Riesling with cranberry and spices. The winery also makes creative cooking vinegars, such as Carmen's Jalapeno wine vinegar, and offers customized engraved bottles.

    Sea Mist Winery

    • This winery, located in Bandon, Oregon is on a 20-acre cranberry bog farm and specializes in cranberry wines. The family-run operation ferments their cranberry wine naturally. Cranberry wine flavors include Oregon cranberry, semi-dry cranberry, cranberry-blueberry, cranberry-raspberry and cranberry-blackberry. You can purchase bottles of their wine individually but also in variety packs as well. Sea Mist winery sells their wine in local Oregon stores and at farmer's markets, and they also ship anywhere in the U.S. Call ahead for a tour of the winery.
