Holiday cottages in Scotland

According to the April 2010 United Kingdom Tourism Survey, self catering holidays in Scotland have grown 30 percent in popularity from 2009. Holiday cottages provide greater independence and flexibility than hotels. Short stays in holiday cottages of five nights or less are particularly popular over Easter and New Year, with many cottages being booked for these periods several months in advance.
