The Ivy Cottage is in Central Scotland's Loch Tay region. This quaint cottage features an outdoor lawn with manicured plants and patio with picnic table, with views of the Highlands. Indoor amenities include two bedrooms, kitchen and living room. The Ivy Cottage accommodates up to four guests. During the Christmas holiday, the weekly rates for this cottage doubles. Weekend guests are required to book a minimum of three nights, while guests must book at least four nights on the weekdays.
Located in Central Scotland, the Kinnaird Estate Cottages allow guests to experience Christmas holidays near the banks of the River Tay. Guests have access to the estate's 7,000 acres, which offers walking paths and bird-watching opportunities. The largest cottage on the estate, Castle Peroch, accommodates four to five guests with two bedrooms and a sleeper sofa in the living room. All Kinnaird Estate cottages have kitchens, dining areas and living rooms. The 13th century Blair Castle is less than 25 minutes from the cottages and open year round to tourists.
The holiday cottages of the Strontian Holiday Lodges resort is in the northwest Scotland region of Argyll. Both of the resort's cottages, Mingulay and Jura, face Loch Sunart. Mingulay houses six guests in three bedrooms, while Jura accommodates five guests in two bedrooms and a sleeper sofa. Both cottages have kitchens, living rooms, bathrooms Wi-Fi Internet and dining areas. Pets may stay in both cottages for free, as of March 2011. Smoking is not permitted in either cottage. The resort is open year round, but rates increase during the Christmas holidays.
