Where is Byron Bay?

Byron Bay is located in the most easterly point of the Australian mainland, in the state of New South Wales, Australia. It is approximately 165 kilometres (103 mi) south of Brisbane, the capital of Queensland, and 772 kilometres (480 mi) north of Sydney, the capital of New South Wales.
