Where Were the World Trade Center Twin Towers Located?

The Twin Towers were not in a park. They stood in the Financial District of Lower Manhattan, New York City, on a 16-acre superblock bounded by Vesey, Church, Liberty, and West Streets.

The complex included the 110-story North Tower (1 WTC) and South Tower (2 WTC), the Marriott World Trade Center (3 WTC), 4–6 WTC low-rises, and the 47-story 7 WTC. The World Trade Center Plaza (often called "the plaza") was a paved public space between the towers—not a park.

Today, the 9/11 Memorial & Museum occupies the footprints, with twin reflecting pools and the Survivor Tree.
