U.S. States That Start with 'H': Just Two
Only two U.S. states begin with the letter **H**:
- Hawaii — The 50th state, an archipelago in the Pacific.
- New Hampshire — One of the original 13 colonies, in New England.
Common Errors:
- "Hampshire" — Not a state. New Hampshire is the full name.
- "Houston" — A major city in Texas, not a state.
No other state names start with H (e.g., no "Hondo," "Humboldt," "Huron" as states).
