The Jimmy Ryce Correctional Institution is a former detention center in LaBelle, Florida, United States. It was named for Jimmy Ryce, a nine-year-old boy from Miami, Florida, who was kidnapped, raped, and killed in 1995. The center opened in 1997 and was originally known as the Southwest Florida Regional Juvenile Detention Center. In 1998, it was renamed the Jimmy Ryce Correctional Institution in honor of Ryce. The center was closed in 2011 due to budget cuts.
