Lake Taneycomo is in the Ozark Mountains in Missouri. The city of Branson is 14 miles to the west. Visitors staying in the area may opt for a cabin in the Lake Taneycomo area.
Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park offers both cabins and cottages for rent. The cabins include amenities such as fire pits, private front porches and grills. No bathroom facilities are available inside the cabins--the community bathroom facilities are within walking distance. Cabins have a starting rental rate of $42 per night as of September 2010. Towels and linens are not provided in cabins unless the linen package is added on the room for $20 per day. Cottages are larger than the cabins, and have the same features as cabins with the addition of private bathrooms located inside. Cottages also include fireplaces and cable television. Cottages rent for $119 per night, as of September 2010. A swimming pool, picnic areas and a theater are all also part of the complex.

Branson Lakes Family Resort is on the outskirts of Lake Taneycomo. Cabins can accommodate anywhere from one to eight guests per cabin. As of September 2010, cabin rental rates ranged from $39 to $90 per night. Features include grills, picnic tables, individually controlled heating and air conditioning and private bathrooms. Some cabins have additional amenities such as fireplaces, patios and full kitchens. The complex has offers an outdoor swimming pool, game room and a public fishing pier. Towels and linens are provided for all cabins.

Taneycomo Campgrounds & Cabins is in the heart of Lake Taneycomo and nine miles outside of downtown Branson. The area is wooded and secluded. As of September 2010, cabin rental rates started at $69.95 per night with an additional charge of $10 per night for more than two guests per cabin. The cabins include beds, sofa beds, covered decks, kitchens and covered porches. A marina and marketplace are located onsite. Amenities include boat rentals, slip rentals, a grocery store and a fishing pier.
