Where is Dispur located?

Dispur is located in the western part of the state of Assam in India. It serves as the capital city of Assam. Dispur is situated on the southern bank of the Brahmaputra River, approximately 10 kilometers (6 miles) to the east of Guwahati, the largest city in Assam.
