What type of land does Wyoming have?

Wyoming has a diverse landscape that encompasses mountains, prairies, forests, and high desert. The state's mountainous regions include the Rocky Mountains, the Bighorn Mountains, and the Grand Teton Range, which offer stunning vistas, hiking trails, and wildlife-viewing opportunities. The prairies are characterized by rolling grasslands and are home to ranching and agricultural activities. The forested areas consist mainly of lodgepole pine forests in the higher elevations and ponderosa pine forests at lower elevations. The high desert regions are found in the western and southwestern parts of the state and are characterized by sagebrush steppe, canyons, and buttes.
