Trail Ridge Road in Rocky Mountain National Park, Colorado, is the highest continuous paved road in the United States. It reaches a maximum elevation of 12,183 feet (3,713 m) above sea level at Fall River Pass. The road is open to vehicles from May to October, weather permitting.
