Celebrity Circle is located in central Myrtle Beach, about a 15-minute drive from the beach itself. There are several family-friendly attractions located on this circle. The Sky Wheel features 42 enclosed gondolas which can each hold up to six people. The revolving Wheel stands 18 stories high and allows visitors a spectacular view of the waterfront. The Promenade is also the site of numerous summertime festivities including a 'Kids Carnival' every Monday night and fireworks on Wednesdays.
Myrtle Waves (myrtlewaves.com) is a water park in Myrtle Beach that has numerous activities for family members of all ages. The water park features a "LayZee River," which is ideal for younger family members and those who want to relax and drift around the park in an inner tube. There is also a "Racin' River" on which you can ride on a board at 10 miles per hour. There are several water slides, a wave pool and "Bubble Bay," an area suitable for toddlers.
The Family Kingdom (familykingdomfun.com) is located near the oceanfront in Myrtle Beach. Featuring an amusement park and a water park, this is an ideal location for family fun. The amusement park features roller coasters and the largest ferris wheel in South Carolina. Other attractions include go-karts, bumper cars and a carousel. The water park features water slides, a lazy river and splash pools for young children.
