The resort offers 1- and 2-bedroom condominiums which are fully furnished and equipped with major appliances and an electric grill on the lakeside deck. You'll enjoy views of the Lake of the Ozarks from your window. The resort is located in a private cove and features an outdoor pool and manicured grounds. Lakewood is a vacation ownership community and you can find available dates and units under the reservation tab on the website (lakewoodresort.com). You can also find weekly rentals April through August which range in price from $600 to $1,050. Rentals for less than a week are charged a $45 cleaning fee.
Lakewood offers a marina with deck boats, pontoons and fishing pontoons for rent from April through October through the resort office. Slips are also available for rent for private boat docking (10' x 24' and 10' x 26' cost $100 per week and 10' x 28' cost $125 per week). The resort also offers an outdoor heated pool which is available from April to October and an indoor hot tub which is open year round. The resort has an exercise room with treadmill and exercise bike, a clubhouse with laundry facility and a tennis court open during daylight hours with equipment available at the resort office.
Lakewood offers weekly housekeeping for guests every Friday and provides fresh towels mid-week. Each unit is equipped with telephones with voice mail and there is no charge for local calls. Your unit also has DSL and Wi-Fi is available throughout the resort. A guest computer is provided for use in the main office. There is a parking lot in front of the units and you can park up to two vehicles during your stay. There is no parking for RVs or travel trailers.
An expert is available at the fishing dock on Sundays at 5 p.m. to offer tips for catching fish on the Lake of the Ozarks. The resort hosts a mixer for residents on Mondays with coffee, juice, donuts and door prizes starting at 9 a.m. in the game room. A craft class is offered at 1 p.m. with a $10 supplies charge. On Tuesdays, a 20-minute table massage is offered at the clubhouse from 9 a.m. until noon for a cost of $20. Lakewood offers a lunch cruise from 12:30 to 2 p.m. on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. The resort sponsors a trip to the Timber Falls Indoor Water Park on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays; tickets cost $22 per person.
