How to Use ATM's in the USA

Locate an ATM machine and using your bank card swipe the card in the ATM.

Read the screen. Choose your language preference, "Spanish or English."

Type in your Personal Identification Number (PIN) and press "Enter."

Accept the service fee for using the ATM if it is not your bank's ATM or an affiliate. The fee is typically $2.00 to $2.50 USD.

Select the type of transaction you wish to perform "Withdrawal, Deposit, Balance, or Transfer" from the screen and select the account to which the transaction should reflect.

Enter the amount of your transaction using the keypad and press "Enter."

Wait while your transaction completes. Take your cash and a printed receipt of your transaction.

Confirm that you do not wish to perform a second transaction by answering "No" to this question on the screen. Remove your dispensed bank card from the ATM.
