Movie Theaters Near South County, Missouri

A large city like St. Louis has many movie theaters to choose from. Some of these are located in the area south of the city, known as South County. These theaters offer different movie options and pricing for moviegoers in the area. Some of them offer lower prices with less theater features, while others offer a more updated experience with slightly higher prices.

  1. Wehrenberg Ronnies 20

    • The Wehrenberg Ronnies 20 theater features stadium seating in all of its theaters. IMAX and 3-D showings are available for certain movies at an additional charge. The theater offers you a cafe with foods and snacks to have during or after your movie. Pizzas can be ordered before your movie begins for you to pick up and take home afterward. Rush hour and early bird specials at $4 per ticket as of January 2011 are available.

    Keller 8

    • Located in the Keller Plaza in southern St. Louis, the Keller 8 Theater offers eight different movies to choose from. Unlike many theaters, however, the Keller 8 shows movies only in 2-D and accepts cash only. As of 2011, tickets are $3 for movies before 6 p.m. and $4 after 6 p.m. Birthday packages can be purchased at the cost of $8 per child with free admission for the birthday child. The package includes movie tickets, soda before the movie, popcorn, candy and drink during the movie.

    Crestwood Plaza 10

    • Offering 10 different theaters, the Crestwood Plaza 10 gives you a special movie watcher program if you use the theater frequently. Rewards are earned by purchasing movie tickets and food at the concession stand. As of January 2011, the prices for adults start at $4.50 for weekday shows before 6 p.m. and go up to $9 for weekends and holidays after 4 p.m. Children's tickets begin at $4.50 for weekday shows before 6 and go up to $6.75 for showings on weekends and holidays after 4.

    Gravois Bluffs

    • Located in Fenton, Missouri, the Gravois Bluffs Theater features 12 screens offering a wide range of current movies, some in 3-D. All theaters feature stadium seating, adjustable arm rests, and digital sound and picture. As of January 2011, tickets cost $7.50 for adult tickets for showings before 4 p.m. on the weekends and 6 p.m. on weekdays and $9.50 for late shows. Children's and senior tickets are always $6.75. Movie showings in 3-D cost an additional $3.
