Relocated to its current home in 1996, the Nashville Zoo occupies over 200 acres. The largest community-built jungle gym in the United States, coming in at 66,000 square feet, is located here. In addition to the fun that can be had on the jungle gym, visitors can observe plenty of animal antics. Animals including the ostrich, red panda and Bengal tiger can all be found at the zoo. For lizard and amphibian lovers, the blue poison arrow frog, green anaconda and hellbender also call the Nashville Zoo home. Lorikeet Landing, features 50 Australian parrots and allows for guests to enter the aviary for an interactive experience.

Teenagers can experience simulated astronaut training at Adventure Science Center's Space Chase. An interactive center, the Adventure Science Center also features BodyQuest, which provides a look inside the human body. For adventurers, Adventure Tower can offer unlimited exploration and interaction opportunities. Sitting 75 feet tall, visitors can lift a car off the ground and learn about different aspects and forces of science and nature. Sudekum Planetarium provides guests with an unobstructed view of the stars and galaxies. The center features a gift shop, however on-site dining is not available.

Country music fans can explore their favorite musical genre at the Country Music Hall of Fame, as well as enjoy live entertainment. Started in 1967, the Country Music Hall of Fame features an astounding collection of artifacts, including 800 stage costumes and 600 instruments. Video clips, music and exhibits feature famous country artists, such as Willie Nelson. The 5,000 square foot museum store offers souvenirs, music and books. On-site dining is available at Two Twenty Two Grill & Catering.
