The atmosphere is rustic, with a large stone fireplace in the dining room, surrounded by tables, booths, and couches. Lighter fare is available at Eddington's Soup & Salad House in Minnetonka. The restaurant has more than a dozen specialty soups on the menu, rotating each day of the week, along with baked potatoes, tortilla wraps, sandwiches, and garden fresh salads. Crossroads Delicatessen & Bakery in Minnetonka makes Kosher deli sandwiches, veggie trays, boxed lunches, baked items and caters functions. Erbert & Gerbert's Subs & Clubs in Hopkins also serves up sandwiches, along with chili, soups, desserts and catering. There are several club sandwiches on the menu, including a peanut butter and jelly one called "Pudder."
Sunsets on Wayzata Bay has an upscale yet casual dining environment. The decor is a mix of brick, copper and cherrywood. There is also a courtyard available if you prefer to take your meal outdoors. Bloomington ChopHouse in West Bloomington specializes in tender steaks and fresh seafood. The bar stocks 10 types of craft beer, in addition to bottles and draft. There is a wood-burning grill at Redstone American Grill in Minnetonka and the chefs serve up rotisserie from an open-air kitchen. Redstone also offers a never-ending family style brunch option.
Christos Greek Restaurant in Minnetonka has been serving Greek food for more than 13 years. For Brazilian food, Samba Taste of Brazil in Hopkins features an authentic menu, along with live Brazilian music every Friday night, and happy hour from 3 to 6 p.m. weekdays. Irish food is served at Kip's Irish Pub and Restaurant in St. Louis Park. The restaurant was brought over from Ireland. Cooper Pub in St. Louis Park mixes Irish, American and European-style foods, such as fish-n-chips, wee burgers and chicken shots. The chefs also make homemade tomato and baked cheddar soups daily. Japanese cuisine and sushi are available at Origami West at Ridgedale Mall. There are a la carte options as well as Japanese entrees. Dragon Jade Restaurant serves up Chinese classics in Minnetonka. The menu includes fried rice and sweet-and-sour chicken for eat-in or take-out.
