The bar stocks 10 types of craft beer, in addition to bottles and draft. There is a wood-burning grill at Redstone American Grill in Minnetonka and the chefs serve up rotisserie from an open-air kitchen. Redstone also offers a never-ending family style brunch option.

    Ethnic Dining

    • Christos Greek Restaurant in Minnetonka has been serving Greek food for more than 13 years. For Brazilian food, Samba Taste of Brazil in Hopkins features an authentic menu, along with live Brazilian music every Friday night, and happy hour from 3 to 6 p.m. weekdays. Irish food is served at Kip's Irish Pub and Restaurant in St. Louis Park. The restaurant was brought over from Ireland. Cooper Pub in St. Louis Park mixes Irish, American and European-style foods, such as fish-n-chips, wee burgers and chicken shots. The chefs also make homemade tomato and baked cheddar soups daily. Japanese cuisine and sushi are available at Origami West at Ridgedale Mall. There are a la carte options as well as Japanese entrees. Dragon Jade Restaurant serves up Chinese classics in Minnetonka. The menu includes fried rice and sweet-and-sour chicken for eat-in or take-out.

    • There are several places to get BBQ in the western suburbs of Minneapolis. Famous Dave's Barbecue in Minnetonka serves Georgia chopped pork and hickory-smoked ribs. According to the company, Dave spent 25 years making America's favorite barbecue styles perfect. Lone Spur Grill & Bar, also in Minnetonka, offers Southwest cuisine in a comfortably rustic setting. Specialties include rotisserie barbecue that is marinated in a full-bodied sauce and fajitas.
