Pier Village Restaurants in Long Branch, New Jersey

Pier Village opened in 2005 as part of a revitalization project to clean up the city of Long Branch and attract retailers and contractors in the oceanfront portion of Long Branch. While the village offers a variety of independent and national shops and frequently holds live events and entertainment, there are a variety of restaurants serving everything from typical American fare to organic and all-natural foods.

  1. It's Greek to Me

    • A casual and family-friendly chain restaurant with eight other locations throughout New Jersey, It's Greek to Me first opened in Cliffside Park in 1986. The primarily Northern New Jersey chain of Greek eateries offers an extensive and affordable menu featuring dishes such as souvlaki, seafood and salads and traditional Greek dishes including imam baildi, paidakia and yemista. The restaurant is open seven days a week and offers lunch specials and a prix fixe menu.

    Shaka

    • This Hawaiian-themed casual restaurant markets itself as a sustainable or "green" organization. Shaka serves all-natural, seasonal foods and utilizes only earth-friendly and sustainable products and policies to operate the business. The surf-themed restaurant serves dishes such as burritos, tacos, rice bowls, salads and shaved ice, a popular desert in Hawaii. The menu can accommodate a large variety of diets and preferences serving specials such as organic, low-fat and low-carbohydrate ice cream. Open seven days a week, the restaurant does not serve alcohol but allows you to bring your own bottle.

    McLoone's Pier House

    • Located directly on the boardwalk with views of the ocean, this restaurant and bar serves American cuisine and often features live bands and early bird specials. McLoone's is one of six sister restaurants; the other five are located in National Harbor, Maryland, and in Central New Jersey. Open since 2005, the restaurant is open seven days a week. One of McLoone's main draws is its Sunday brunch, served until 2:30 p.m.

    Sawa Steakhouse and Sushi Bar

    • The sister restaurant to a Zagat restaurant located in nearby Eatontown, New Jersey, this upscale Japanese restaurant opened in 2006 and is located right on the boardwalk. Open for dinner and lunch, the restaurant is reasonably priced and is family friendly with a kids menu. A premier entertainment destination at Pier Village, Sawa also hosts weekly karaoke, happy hour specials and live music. The restaurant offers a dinner, lunch, takeout and bar menu.
