Lodging near Mt. Spokane, WA

For the snow enthusiast, it doesn't get much better than Mt. Spokane, just outside of Spokane Washington, home of the Mt. Spokane Ski and Snowboard Park. The park is a nonprofit facility boasting affordable skiing and snowboarding on over 1,425 acres and 2,000 vertical feet of slopes. Mt. Spokane State park and nearby areas have much to offer all year long, from camping, to fishing to hiking. Area lodging from hotels, motels and lodges welcome you to visit this all-weather destination.

  1. Lodge

    • The Bear Creek Lodge located in nearby Mead, Washington offers a variety of rooms from a standard queen-size bed room to a family suite. For those hearing wedding bells, the Bear Creek Lodge also offers a top floor Wedding Suite. Contact the Bear Creek Lodge for special "stay and play" package as well as wedding packages. Remember to pack a good book or a couple of board games. The Bear Creek Lodge does not include televisions in its rooms.

    Resort

    • Established in 1895, the nearby Sutton Bay Resort offers its original rustic cabins as well as the original log home, which provides beautiful views of Mt. Spokane. This historical resort offers picnic areas, swimming, fishing and canoeing. The area surrounding the Sutton Bay resort offers many hiking trails amongst the deer, moose and other woodland animals. The resort opens in mid-April each year and closes for the winter season in mid-October.

    Camping

    • If you fancy yourself a camper, the Mt. Spokane State Park is open from mid-May through mid-September each year. The park offers eight campsites with water and restrooms, as well as a group camp option that will accommodate up to 100 guests. Mount Spokane State Park's more than 13,000 acres offer fantastic views of Washington, Idaho and Montana from an elevation of nearly 5,900 feet. Although camping ends in September, the park is accessible with Sno-Park permits after November 1st.

    Motels and Hotels

    • The nearby city of Spokane offers many motels and hotels, sure to fit anyone's budget. From the more upscale and resort-style offerings of the Red Lion Hotel chain to popular chain motels like the Super 8, Best Western or Howard Johnson, there is no shortage of motels that offer year-round accommodations.
