Located approximately 16 miles north of Tampa, Tampa Palms is a planned community with 24 separate villages ranging from apartment homes to estates. Tampa Palms is situated on 5,400 acres of land and provides residents with nearby shops, offices, churches, schools and dining establishments. Most restaurants in the neighborhood lie along the Bruce B. Downs Boulevard, and with downtown Tampa not far away, there is no shortage of cuisines to choose from.
Located on Tampa Palms Boulevard, Ciccio's Lodge offers a selection of eclectic American fare, offering Asian, Spanish and Californian flavors. Appetizers range from Asian pot stickers and edamame to wings. Salads, wraps, bowls, burgers and pizza fill out the lengthy menu. There is an entire section called "Lodge American Sushi," a menu of cooked and raw items such as "The Philly," a grilled steak with peppers and onions, and "Baja Tuna," a sashimi tuna with tempura fried shrimp.
If you're in the mood for steak, Stonewood Grill & Tavern, a chain steakhouse with locations primarily in Florida, offers American steak and seafood entrees. Steak is featured prominently not only in entrees, but in appetizers and salads such as the "Steak and Bleu Cheese Flatbread" and the "Oak Grilled Steak Salad." The restaurant offers a daily selection of fresh fish as well along with their seafood specialties including a ginger and lime-glazed salmon.
If you crave some Asian food, Thai Ruby, located on Amberly Drive, serves Thai favorites such as pad Thai and an assortment of curries; however, the menu offers everything from vegetarian dishes to chicken, beef, seafood and macrobiotic food. Their menu claims to have an extensive list of wines and they offer domestic and imported beers such as Michelob and the Thai beer, Singha.
