Tampa, on Florida's east coast, is about 300 miles south of the state capital at Tallahassee. The Pho Ouyen restaurant is one of only a handful of Tampa area restaurants that offer a wide variety of Vietnamese food. Their Roasted Duck Legs Noodle Soup is available with both egg and rice noodles. Their Rice Vermelli dishes are served with fish sauce and a salad with shredded lettuce, mint leaves, pickled carrots and beat sprouts.
