Hillsborough River State Park is located approximately 10 miles north of downtown Tampa. Originally established as one of Florida's first state parks, the Hillsborough River flows through it and provides a variety of recreational activities. Offering 75 tent and RV sites with full hookups, visitors can expect restrooms with showers, a swimming pool and dump station. Hiking, biking, fishing, boating and wildlife viewing are popular activities in the park, and canoe and bike rentals are available.
