Getting to the gambling capital of the world from Fresno Yosemite International Airport in Fresno, California, can be as easy as hopping on a plane. Though flying is the easiest option, it isn't the only one.
United Airlines, U.S. Airways and Allegiant Air LLC all fly from Fresno to Las Vegas. There are six daily flights departing from as early as 6:00 a.m. and as late as 7:30 p.m. And since Vegas never sleeps, any flight option is a good one.
If flights are too expensive, consider Greyhound. Greyhound has seven daily trips from Fresno to Las Vegas, and a special web-only fare for $65 (as of October 21, 2010). Standard fare is $74 for a one-way ticket.
Fresno Yosemite International Airport has car rental companies on-site. Las Vegas is 396 miles from Fresno, and driving the distance should take about six hours, according to MapQuest.
