Since many of these cottages are privately owned, finding the best cottages in Indian Shores or any of the surrounding beach communities can take a little legwork. Realtors can offer limited help, as not all of these cottages get rented through real estate agencies.
In nearby Indian Rocks Beach, the Blue Heron Beach Cottage has two bedrooms on the beach. In this area, "on the beach" may not mean a water view, as there are several rows of cottages between the paved road and the water.
