    • Located in Colorado's primary resort town, Vail, Vail Snowmobiling offers winter activities for those looking to escape the norm of the ski slopes. The Prospector Tour is the company's most popular, providing clients with unparalleled views atop the Colorado Rockies. As of October 2010, rates for the Prospector Tour ranged from free for children under the age of six to $105 for a driver. The tour group requires that all drivers of snowmobiles must at least be 15 years of age to operate a single snowmobile and 18 years of age to carry a passenger.
