South Highway 287 RV Park & Storage is in Waxahachie and offers campers 50 spots for RVs with pull-through slots available, and the largest campsites are suitable for big rigs. Each campsite has full electric, water and sewage hookups available. No Internet access is available at the park. The campground provides no restrooms, showers or other amenities for travelers. A public facility operated by the Army Corps of Engineers, Waxahachie Creek RV Park consists of 72 paved recreational vehicle campsites. Fourteen of these spaces are pull-through sites, measuring 20 by 65 feet in size, while the remaining back-in sites are 15 by 28 feet in size. Among the campsites seven lots come with no hookups of any kind and 65 with electricity and water connections. For campers' convenience, the park has bathrooms, showers and a sewage waste dump. Lake Bardwell is adjacent to the property for freshwater fishing, swimming and boating. The campground has boats available for rent. Pets are welcome.
