Happy hour takes place every Friday with a band playing music to set the mood. Bands alternate and range from soloists to acoustic to blues. The calendar on the website notes which band is playing what type of music and what time its set begins. There are no cover charges to see live music at Big Daddy's.

    Guy Anthony's Buon Appetito

      Located in North Merrick, Guy Anthony's Buon Appetito boasts it's a "little piece of Manhattan" on the island. The décor is cool and low key, while the music is classic and mellow. There is only one piano player and guest singer every Thursday evening. Mostly, music is traditional theater tunes or well-known easy-listening classics.

      There are also a handful of Friday and Saturday evenings in which featured singers play requests to entertain you while you enjoy classic Italian dishes. These include chicken Parmigiana and baked lasagna. Currently, there are not any multipiece bands scheduled to play.

      Ciao Baby strives to recreate the classic Italian family dinners that "mama" used to make. The food is complemented by a live tribute to the "Rat Pack" with soloists singing musical selections from Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis Jr. and Dean Martin. Be serenaded every Sunday evening as you enjoy a family-style meal with selections ranging from shrimp scampi to eggplant rollatini. The old-world tunes set the mood for an Italian meal and are reminiscent of 1960s life. Ciao Baby promises "good times" and "good music."
