    Helpful Tips

    • Most sites in Lake George area campgrounds have designated areas for campers to build campfires. Tents should be pitched on dry, flat surfaces that are away from bee hives, ant hills and poison ivy. It is also important to tightly seal stored foods to prevent wild animals from invading the campsite.
