Dynamite Hill Recreation Center & Nature Trail is a place where you can enjoy winter activities such as skiing, sledding and ice skating. The half-mile nature trail has a rope tow for those who are beginning to learn how to ski. The trail is lit in the evenings. A warming hut, seasonal picnic areas and a playground are also found in the center.

Hovey Pond Recreation Park is a 12-acre recreational area that is open year round. Visit the park and enjoy activities such as fishing for brook and brown trout, bird watching from the observation platform, walking and strolling through the floral gardens. During the winter, ice skate in the Hovey Pond. Learn about the park's history and evolution through the historical time line located in the park and learn about aquatic wildlife and wetland habitat from the educational kiosk located in the gazebo at the trail head.

Moreau Lake State Park is a pet-friendly park with a playground, picnic tables and a 120-person capacity pavilion overlooking the lake. The park also has a rental cabin and campgrounds with facilities for group campers as well as tent and trailer sites. Play on the beach or enjoy hiking and bike trails, hunting, boating and fishing. Beach lounges, beach umbrellas and fishing gear rentals are available during the summer. During the winter, you can go ice fishing, cross-country skiing or rent snowshoes for use on the trails.
