Magic Forest Park caters to families and children of all ages but has special attractions for children 10 years and under. The park has 25 rides, along with 19 kiddie rides, four adult rides, zoo animals, a train and a one-mile safari tram. Magic Forest Park is located in a forest and has two variety shows for children and numerous exhibits every day. It has a snack bar as well as a picnic area on the grounds. There is also a gift shop with toys, clothing and souvenir items. The park is open every day from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., and if you come in after 3 p.m. you can return the next day for free. Admission prices include all the rides, shows and other attractions. The park also caters to special events, school trips and birthday parties, offering discounts for each.

Water Slide World in Lake George boasts a total of 35 water slides, including inner tube slides, speed slides, sled slides and cannonball slides, along with a Hurricane Harbor Wave Pool. The park also has two toddler pools. Other activities include sand volleyball and an Amazon adventure inner tube ride. Additional amenities include lockers, dressing rooms and showers, life jackets, tube rentals and picnic areas. The park also has concessionaires as well as gift and souvenir shops. Great Escape and Splashwater Kingdom is less than 10 miles from Lake George and has a wide variety of rides, including thrill rides, family rides and kid rides. Thrill rides include the Pirate Ship and the Skycoaster, and the family rides range from a Ferris wheel and bumper cars to the Cannonball Express and the Olympiad Grand Prix Go-Carts. Kid rides vary from the big red cars to motorcycles and the Yosemite Sam Shore Patrol. Theme park services include first aid, ATMs, restrooms, telephones, drinking fountains, lockers, wheelchair rentals and personal care attendants for guests with disabilities. The park also has many food kiosks and restaurants, along with souvenir shops. Operating hours vary each week, but standard opening time for the amusement park is 10 a.m. and the water park at 11 a.m..
