Lake George, New York, is near Lake George Beach State Park and the Adirondack Mountains. It's famous for camping, sailing and parasailing, fishing, boat cruises and other water and lakeshore activities. Lake George also has the highest concentration of golf courses in the Northeast. There is also a gift shop with toys, clothing and souvenir items. The park is open every day from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., and if you come in after 3 p.m. you can return the next day for free. Admission prices include all the rides, shows and other attractions. The park also caters to special events, school trips and birthday parties, offering discounts for each.

      Water Slide World in Lake George boasts a total of 35 water slides, including inner tube slides, speed slides, sled slides and cannonball slides, along with a Hurricane Harbor Wave Pool. The park also has two toddler pools. Other activities include sand volleyball and an Amazon adventure inner tube ride. Additional amenities include lockers, dressing rooms and showers, life jackets, tube rentals and picnic areas. The park also has concessionaires as well as gift and souvenir shops. Kid rides vary from the big red cars to motorcycles and the Yosemite Sam Shore Patrol. The park also has many food kiosks and restaurants, along with souvenir shops. Operating hours vary each week, but standard opening time for the amusement park is 10 a.m. and the water park at 11 a.m..
