Chimney Rock, North Carolina, Motels & Cabins

Chimney Rock State Park, in western North Carolina, is open every day except Thanksgiving and Christmas. Hours of operation change with the season. This state park was privately owned for more than 100 years until the state of North Carolina acquired it in 2007. The park is named after a large rock formation roughly shaped like a chimney. Hiking trails, rock climbing, restaurants and shops are only some of the many attractions. Once you're done with activities for the day, Chimney Rock also has many lodging establishments in which to stay.
