Atlanta may be better known for the World of Coca-Cola and the Varsity, but the city also has a selection of barbecue restaurants from which to choose. The restaurants offer many traditional barbecue entrees, including ribs, beans and cobblers, as well as a variety of platters for the barbecue enthusiasts who prefer non-traditional tastes.
Fox Brothers BBQ started out in 2001 as an annual party for friends and eventually grew into an event with elaborate menus and over 200 people. The restaurant, located at 1238 Dekalb Avenue, serves many barbecue favorites including baby-back ribs, smoked chicken and sliced beef brisket. They have a selection of sides as well, such as green beans, tater tots and fried okra.
For those craving a lighter fare, the restaurant offers a BBQ salad and a house salad. Desserts include peanut brittle and pecan brittle, homemade banana pudding and chocolate pecan pie to finish off the meal. They also offer several kids meal options.
