Storied chef Kevin Rathbun's eponymous restaurant, Rathbun's, offers modern American food with a Southern influence. Tarragon roasted chicken, and sweet corn gouda and green chile soft tacos are some of its popular dishes. When it opened in 2004, Esquire named Rathbun's one of the "Top New Restaurants in the Country." Since then, Kevin Rathbun has opened Krog Bar and Kevin Rathbun Steak, located next door to Rathbun's. In spite of its popularity, the restaurant has a casual feel, and takes walk-ins for its outdoor patio. Reservations are required for the indoor tables.
