Beaches, restroom facilities and picnic areas are spread throughout the park and available for use free of charge. The Villa Angela area of the park features a boardwalk and bike trails. The park hosts free events at various times of the year such as Labor Day celebrations and fall festivals. Boat ramps and docks are available for public use. Parking is free of charge for visitors.

Lake View Cemetery is located in Cleveland and is known for being a historic landmark of the area dating back to 1869. More than 104,000 people are buried in the cemetery and the grounds are nondenominational. As of 2010, there remains more than 70 acres of ground that has not yet been used and the cemetery continues to grow. Total size of the grounds exceeds 285 acres and visitors have the opportunity to walk the grounds to explore the burial sites along with the sprawling landscaping that is located throughout. The area is also known for the extensive collection of trees and foliage that is present throughout the property. Famous people interred at the cemetery include notable historical figures such as John D. Rockefeller and James Garfield. Visitors can walk the cemetery grounds free of charge

The Cleveland Orchestra's Community Concerts series is a collection of free concerts that are held throughout the year for visitors and residents of the Cleveland area. A variety of free concerts are offered by the orchestra representing various musical genres. One concert is the Public Square Concert and Festival, which is held in celebration of the Fourth of July. In the winter, a free concert is held in celebration of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
