Live music at a restaurant can be a very welcome addition to a night out with family or friends. Some restaurants use a band in a more casual setting to supply a background for patrons. Others use a band to create an intimate setting in a wine bar or at a wedding. Although there are no restaurants in Hermitage, Pennsylvania, with live music, surrounding towns offer live entertainment.
Roughly eight miles west of Hermitage is the Lemon Grove Cafe. The Lemon Grove is located just over the Ohio border in Youngstown, Ohio and features breakfast, lunch and dinner, as well as local culture, musicians and artists. The food menu includes American classics with clever names such as the Catcher in the Rye, which includes ham sautéed with scrambled eggs. They also offer a full coffee bar that, as well as the kitchen, is open until 4 a.m. every day. The Lemon Grass Café features a wide variety of local artists and musicians. Live music is offered every day, often at multiple times throughout the day, and features jazz and dance acts.
