Let loose on the dance floor in Sin City, where anything goes and the wild stories don't follow you home. Las Vegas offers plenty of restaurants with live music to keep you entertained both on Las Vegas Boulevard and off. Some of the restaurants have themes, carrying on the Vegas tradition of putting on a good show wherever you go.
Firefly, with two locations, has won numerous awards, including best bar menu, best happy hour and best signature drinks from Citysearch and two local newspapers. You can find Firefly downtown and also on Paradise Road, in the same building where scenes from the movie "Casino" were filmed. The restaurant serves tapas -- appetizer-sized plates -- and alcohol, often with a live music backdrop. Choose from among tuna-stuffed poppadew peppers, smoked salmon toasts with sour cream and pickled ginger or shrimp ceviche on the cold tapas menu. Try the hot thai beef salad, with seared meat and a thai dressing, or bacon-wrapped stuffed dates with smoked almonds and a red wine reduction. The restaurant also serves meat, chicken and fish tapas, along with a handful of entrees, including a ribeye steak. You may want to save room for dessert, with choices like a trio of gelato, chocolate cherry bread pudding and passion fruit miniature cheesecakes. On the drink menu, Firefly serves a special sangria they marinate for three days, along with mojitos in flavors like blood orange, watermelon and paradise. The restaurant also infuses its own vodka with berries and lychee.

Both nightclub and restaurant, Diablo's Cantina fills a two-story building at the Monte Carlo Resort and Casino on Las Vegas Boulevard. Unleash your inner devil at Diablo's alongside girls painted red wearing black bikinis and horns. The restaurant offers both outside and inside dining, as well as a stage for performers and a place for DJs to spin records. Diablo's focuses on the late night eater and drinker -- the restaurant doesn't open until 11 p.m. on weekends, from Sunday to Tuesday. On Wednesday and Thursday, hours start at 10 p.m. Enjoy Mexican-American cuisine, like the angry calamari appetizer, in which fried calamari is accompanied with crispy chilies, or try a carne asada fajita sandwich.

Country music fans might want to check out Toby's Keith's I Love This Bar and Grill at Harrah's. Music starts nightly at 9 p.m., but the casino floor's blackjack tables might distract you from the stage. The restaurant features bands and DJs nightly. The menu includes American classics like hamburgers, pulled pork sandwiches, triple-decker club sandwiches and grilled steak -- with the option of a 16-ounce cowboy cut or an 8-ounce cowgirl cut. Try a fried bologna sandwich, complete with Miracle Whip and Texas Toast. Add a side of fried beans or corn on the cob. For dessert, indulge in Southern-fried Twinkies or a deep-dish berry cobbler. The bar's quirky drink menu features concoctions like "White Trash with Money," -- served with black raspberry liqueur, Sierra Mist and a Coors beer -- and the whiskey-blended "Patriot" drink.
