Gilley's Las Vegas

• The original Houston, Texas, location of Gilley's, made famous in the movie "Urban Cowboy," has been closed for several decades. Gilley's Las Vegas is located inside the Treasure Island Hotel and Casino. The club's dance hall is open from dusk until dawn (around 6 to 8 p.m. until 2 to 4 a.m.) every night for those interested in two stepping or line dancing. On Fridays and Saturdays, live bands play a mix of country western, rock, blues and folk music. The saloon area of Gilley's expands on activities with karaoke nights, free line-dancing lessons and mechanical-bull-riding competitions. Happy hour and ladies night drink specials are also offered.

Stoney's Rockin' Country

• Stoney's, one of the largest country nightclubs in Vegas, is a place for dance lessons on the weekend, live broadcasts from a local country music station on Sundays and drink specials such as Thursday Ladies Nights and Free Beer Fridays. The club has two full-service bars as well as pool tables, bowling lanes, an arcade and a mechanical bull for those that wish to go for a ride. Stoney's also offers a VIP package that includes a personal cocktail waitress, a VIP host and entrance to the secure VIP section.

Rockabilly's

• The all-ages country nightclub, Rockabilly's, purports to have the largest hardwood dance floor in Las Vegas. Like Gilley's and Stoney's, it offers dance lessons in the evenings as well as drink specials and mechanical bull riding. Music is usually provided by DJs but, on occasion, live acts will perform at the club.
