Wasted Space is located inside the Hard Rock Hotel and was a part of its expansion in 2008. The venue was opened by reality television star and extreme athlete, Carey Hart. According to its website, "Wasted Space melds the high-end rock n' roll culture with fashion, art and design." The vibe of the space is dark and moody and it is outfitted with industrial-style furnishings and decor. The club offers a constantly rotating schedule of popular rock acts such as Drowning Pool and L.A. Guns.

The Joint, also located in the Hard Rock Hotel, was doubled in size in 2008 and now has room for 4,000 guests. An entire level of the venue offers space for VIP guests that can reserve services such as bottle service and waiter/hostess service. In addition to the luxury level, The Joint also features seven large luxury suites that overlook the action taking place. Many of the events that The Joint offers can be attended by those 18 years old and over, but alcohol is only served to those over 21 years old. The venue has hosted acts such as Kid Rock, Aerosmith and Nickleback.

The House of Blues, located deep within the Mandalay Hotel and Casino, is always a popular destination in Las Vegas for music fans. Different nights of the week offer different types of music such as alternative rock every Tuesday and acoustic rock every Thursday. The venue also offers a guitar-infused Prince music show on Sunday nights. The space offers a full bar and food is served as well. Live music is offered seven nights per week and The House of Blues is open 365 days per year so that music fans always have the chance to enjoy the party.
