Las Vegas Gothic Clubs

Las Vegas, Nevada, is a vacation and getaway hot spot with many things to see and do. One of Sin City's biggest draws, besides casino gambling, is the nightlife entertainment. Las Vegas is known for its 21-and-over clubs that offer dancing, live bands and cheap drinks. Vegas also features some of the more well-known Gothic Clubs, where all types of people come to hang out and enjoy the dark and sometimes macabre atmosphere.
  1. Double Down Saloon

    • The Double Down Saloon features Alternative, Indie and Punk music. It's open Sunday through Saturday, and has been nicknamed "the happiest place on earth" by its most frequent visitors. You'll find unique decor that reminds one of death and decay, in addition to some mind-bending painted murals on the walls. Stop by for a 'bacon martini' and check out the diverse crowd that roams through nightly.

    Drai's Afterhours

    • Drai's Afterhours is an adult hot spot like no other. Located on the corner of Flamingo and Las Vegas Blvd., it's actually a 5-star supper club during the day, but after midnight transforms into what's been described as "Hugh Hefner's basement meets Satan's den" according to nightclubs.com. With its blood-red walls, leopard print furniture, risqué paintings and a maze of rooms, Drai's is an obscure club with a lot of macabre culture. Dance music includes an array of house, industrial and hip hop. Drai's Afterhours is open weekly, Thursday through Sunday from 1:00 a.m. to close. They offer private party bookings as well if you're interested in reserving the club for an upcoming event.

    Ghost Machine

    • The Gipsy Nightclub is one of the oldest alternative dance clubs in Las Vegas. They feature a newer Goth scene every Saturday night called the Ghost Machine. Club doors open at 11:00 p.m. and you can drink all you want for $10 until 2:00 a.m. Ghost Machine offers not only dancing and DJ's, but also live bands and Gothic belly dancers. In 2010, Ghost Machine has declared its "Goth Day in Vegas" and will be featuring a number of special guest DJ's and prize giveaways.

    VooDoo Lounge

    • The VooDoo Lounge has been called one of the 'wildest nightspots in Vegas' by City Search readers. Take an elevator ride up 51 stories at the Rio and you'll find the VooDoo. Open at 5:00 p.m daily, the VooDoo Lounge is decorated with candlelight and dark, sensual colors. Step out onto the patio, find even more bars to accommodate you, as well as additional dancing, DJ's and a stripper pole for those adventurous enough to give it a whirl.
