If you would like a taste of Texas nightlife, head over to the Honky Tonk Armadillo at the Texas Station Hotel. Decorated with racks of bull horns, leather, lassos and even a 200-pound mirrored armadillo, guests will get a kick out of the cheeky decor. Although the club is a bit smaller than other options available, the service at the bar is fast, the music is good, and the mirrored armadillo is worth the venture off of the Strip.

Open Monday through Saturday from 7 p.m. until 5 a.m., Dylan's Dance Hall & Saloon is a smaller country dance club that caters more to locals than tourists, located well off the Las Vegas Strip. Featuring free dance lessons every Friday and Saturday night, the clientele is a regular one and the atmosphere is very friendly. There is rarely a line to get a drink at either of the two bars on any given night. If you tire of dancing, shoot some pool or try your skill on the mechanical bull.
