Cool Restaurants in Las Vegas

If Las Vegas is nothing else, it is unique. The activities available here are unlike those found anywhere else in the country, or there are at least a lot more of them. This city provides entertainment 24 hours a day in one form or another and dining out can be an adventure all its own. There are endless opportunities for eating in Las Vegas, but a few places have to be considered must-see attractions because they are the coolest eateries in town.

  1. Switch

    • Inside the Encore Hotel at the Wynn Resort on the Las Vegas Strip, there are many choices for dining. However, one venue tops the list of this complex's fine dining restaurants when it comes to cool places to eat. Switch Steakhouse is not only dinner, but it is theater as well. The food here is beautifully presented and delicious with steak and seafood specialties that may end up being the highlight of a trip to Vegas.

The restaurant itself transitions from one scene to another as you enjoy the meal. Just as the taste buds experience the difference in the appetizers, the main course and the dessert, the eyes get to experience a change of scenery to heighten the senses. The walls, ceiling and fixtures move smoothly as if choreographed to the dramatic music. The room is likely to "switch" a few times during one meal, so no one will go through the evening without the show.

    Lavo

    • Lavo Italian Restaurant and Nightclub is certainly a cool place to be seen. Take a look at the clientele in this trendy Vegas Strip hot spot and you'll see that celebrities agree. Paris Hilton, Ryan Reynolds, Shannen Doherty and Will I Am and Fergie from the Black Eyed Peas have all been known to hang out at Lavo. The restaurant is located on the street level and has one of the best patio experiences in Las Vegas. Inside the décor is elegant and the guests are typically energetic and ready to head upstairs to one of the trendiest nightclub dance scenes in the city. The food at Lavo is complete with authentic Italian appetizers, a raw bar, pizzas, pasta, steaks and lobster as well as an impressive wine list and full service bar.

    Le Cirque

    • Le Cirque is a AAA Five-Diamond Restaurant located inside the Bellagio on the Las Vegas Strip. This unique restaurant is alive with color and is draped in silk that makes the dining room appear to be under the circus' big top. Sirio Maccioni, a restaurateur and author, who runs critically acclaimed restaurants in New York, the Dominican Republic, Mexico City and London with his family, created the French cuisine menu and theme.

The décor and food are just the beginning at Le Cirque, as this restaurant is also one of the best locations to find hard to locate wines and some of the best service in town. It is tough not to be in a great mood at Le Cirque with its joyful colors and a grand view of the Bellagio fountains right outside the window.
