For the under-21-year-old crowd in Atlanta, finding a place to have fun on a Friday or Saturday night can be a bit limiting, as the city's nightlife caters primarily to those of legal drinking age (which is 21 years old). Fortunately, throughout the city there are live music venues, dance clubs and lounges that cater to those 18 years old and up.
Patrons must be at least 21 years old to enjoy any of The Five Spot's more than 100 beers available, but younger patrons can enjoy plenty of live entertainment. The Five Spot is in the heart of Atlanta's hip Little 5 Points neighborhood and features live music nearly every night of the week. Musicians ranging from hip-hop, indie rock, bluegrass and everything in between regularly take the stage at The Five Spot, and as of August 2010, the bar has an open mic session every Tuesday. The Five Spot also has a kitchen offering sandwiches, salads and other snacks.
