Restaurants in the Theater District in Houston

The Theater District in downtown Houston, Texas, is home to nine performing arts organizations in four venues. Jones Hall, Wortham Theater Center, Alley Theater and Hobby Center for the Performing arts host a diverse array of live theatrical, musical and comedic performances throughout the calendar year.     • Zula offers gourmet contemporary American cuisine in the heart of Houston's theater district. Its multi-level dining room is adorned in an elegant peacock color scheme.     Little Napoli

    • Downtown Houston's Little Napoli offers a broad array of reasonably priced Italian entrees within walking distance of the city's theater district stages. The restaurant's menu can be complemented with a selection from its lengthy list of imported Italian wines. Choose from Italian style seafood and pasta dishes like lobster ravioli a la vodka, shrimp de napoli and seafood alfredo.     Yao's

    • Yao Restaurant and Bar is the brain child of the parents of famed Houston Rockets professional basketball player Yao Ming. Yao's is located less than ten minutes from the downtown theater district. The restaurant's sprawling dining room is adorned with traditional Chinese decor, artwork and ornate light fixtures. Its menu of authentically prepared Chinese cuisine includes such entrees as braised tofu with shiitake mushrooms and snap peas, shrimp in lobster sauce with minced chicken and Mongolian beef and shrimp paired with green onion and signature brown sauce.
